de Raye Walker has served as the Chief Operating Officer for the New Macedonia Baptist Church since January 2005. de Raye, a native Washingtonian, gave her life to the Lord at the age of twelve and was baptized at The New Macedonia Baptist Church in Southeast, Washington, DC, under the loving leadership of her late pastor, Reverend Dr. Robert L. Walls, Sr.

de Raye to leave Corporate America and to serve in full time ministry under the dynamic leadership of her current pastor, Reverend Patrick J. Walker. Beyond day to day operations, de Raye is responsible for the overall management of the church’s Robert L. Walls Senior Citizens Center, a 48 unit apartment building, as well as, the management of three rental properties and the construction of new property.
de Raye is also involved in the other aspects of ministry in her church. She is an instructor in New Macedonia’s Discipleship Ministry, founder and director of the church’s drama ministry, ACT5!, and she ministers with the praise team. de Raye is committed to serving the people of God and bringing glory to her Lord and Savior.
Personally and professionally, de Raye strives to rest in God’s sovereignty, trusting His word…“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, to bring you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11.
