Rev. Annie B. Darden has been a member of the First Baptist Church of Glenarden for 14 years.  She currently serves as one of the Associate Pastors and part-time Staff Minister at FBCG.  She is the Executive Director of the Network of Church Administrators and has been a longstanding member of the Network of Church Administrators since its inception in 1998.  She has served as a Church Administrator and Chief Operations Officer for 13 years.  In these capacities, she provided professional services in the areas of  human resources, office management, contracts, overview of facilities and community development.

Rev. Darden received a Fellow Certificate in Church Business Administration from the National Association of Church Business Administration (now The Church Network) in 2004 and was re-certified in 2012.

Rev. Darden received her undergraduate degree in Business Management in 1985 from the University of Maryland (University College).  She later continued her academia in ministry earning a Certificate in Advanced Leadership – 2009; Certificate in Theology Studies in 2013; and a Master of Arts Degree in Biblical Studies in 2016.

Rev. Darden has two children, five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
